Insanity....

Holy cow. Never use ebay while drunk, I guess. This pot retails for $215 I think.

Ouch! Does that mean you paid above retail for an used item? If I do my math... Even with the Brewmometer and the 3-piece valve, it shouldn't have been over $300...

Nice gear though. You're gonna need a bigger immersion chiller...
Lol no.. That wasn't me.. I happend to get a 14 gallon one for 140 that was on auction at the same time.
Sweet. I love my 14 gallon kettle. Again - you're gonna need a bigger chiller (unless you've got a counterflow...)

I use an immersion chiller that's 50' of 1/2" copper tubing... and in the winter it'll cool to pitching temps in about 20 minutes. In the summer... well, its an issue regardless once the ground water temperatures start rising above 65...
Hey... if you end up coming to the First State Brewers field trip of Twin Lakes Brewery, you'll have to chill for a few hours back at my place before & after to sample...

Yah. I am thinking of going to that. Did you get my emails?
I brewed yesterday and realised the hard way my chiller needs to be redone. Brew went ok. But that was expected. New equipment learning curve and all...
